Near the church of Agia Paraskevi Geroskipou, in the area where the Primary School was formerly housed, today houses the collections of the Museum of the Holy Metropolis of Paphos. Here, visitors can see works of church art dating from the early Byzantine period to the post-Byzantine period.

The collection of sacred icons is especially interesting and mainly includes works from the 12th to the 19th century. Among them is the most ancient icon of Cyprus of Agia Marina, the only one dating back to the pre-iconographic period (7th-8th centuries). Byzantine frescoes of ruined temples of the 11th and 12th centuries have also been sheltered here, which mainly come from the provinces of Cyprus.

The museum still exhibits objects of ecclesiastical metalwork, the oldest of which date back to the 6th century. such as candelabras, candlesticks, buckles, moulds, chalices, censers, pastoral rods and much more. Among these exhibits is the rod of Metropolitan Ephesus Meletius (1764). Not to mention some natural and remarkable specimens of ecclesiastical equipment, including wood-carved icons, rattlesnakes, crucifixes, and the saddest. Also noteworthy is the collection of beautiful 18th and 19th century vestments and ecclesiastical embroidery. Last but not least, the museum’s extensive collection of manuscripts and scrapbooks, including Gospels of 1462 and 1604, a 15th-century Hymnology, 1853 Firms, as well as music books.
